About Ben Dockins

Ben is native to the area, growing up in Habersham, Georgia.  He begain throwing pots as a hobby in the fall of 2011, and has quickly emerged as a creative and innovative potter, at home in the culturally rich region of Northeast Georgia; known widely as a land wealthy with Folk Pottery and makers of fine ceramics.  Ben is the father of River and Adelaide, and proudly lays claim as the companion of Sweet Jasmine, a boxer bulldog who spent her life devoted to Mr. Dockins.  Ben is the Gallery Manager, and would love to answer any questions you may have about pottery. :) 

About Betsy Ledbetter

Betsy is originally from Rock Hill, South Carolina.  She attended The College of Charleston and obtained a degree in Arts Management and Business.  While in Charleston, Betsy enrolled in a pottery class at The Gibbes Museum.  Mrs. Jessie Meaders, a longtime family friend and well known folk potter in North Georgia, encouraged Betsy to pursue pottery making.  Betsy spent countless hours working with Jessie and patiently honed her skills.  Betsy began working at The Willows in the summer of 2003
